Yang-Ah

Name: Kim Yang-Ah

Born: March 1st 1991

Height: 5'4

Weight: 99lbs

Shoe: 6

BIO: Yang-Ah was born in Incheon, South Korea, when she was nine, she was adopted and grew up with a family of four, two older brothers, she was raised as one of the boys, she played basketball, football, and baseball with her brothers'.

What's happened this week...

On Monday morning. We held our weekly Monday meeting at Starstate, usually, we discuss project bookings, issues, and futures. There's a saying that the future always changes. It's kinda true.

So, the models decided what they wanted to do by next year. Talin, the eldest and only American is leaving and going to New Zealand to study. On Saturday, August 21st 2010 we held a going-away party for Talin. I could tell it was sad. So currently, we had to quickly find a new model (we'll post her profile in a few) Hopefully. They will all get along.

Sorry this is such a short post, I'm really tired and sleepy right now, I spent the whole day helping the housekeepers clean and cook. So I'm burnt out. Haha.

Autograph pictures...

Here are the autographed pictures from three of our models.

Laptops, phones, and makeup

My day hasn't been the easiest. First of all, the interviews went pretty well on last Thursday except for Talin's little mishap. But that's it. Yesterday, I dropped my precious laptop in the Koi pond in front of our house, along with my phone. So I had to wait 24hours to order the cosmetics line from Kimmi Choi and no way to call anyone. so I immediately went to the phone store and brought an iphone4. Which is really cool. I took my daughter, Juria with me because I had no idea how to look for an iphone or a computer. So when we got to the Apple store and purchased the iphone, she told me "mother, you should get an outer box, this is your third phone this year." So we brought the outer box (which I have no idea what that is, now I know it's an iphone case) and went home. Instead of buying a fancy laptop like my two children have (I think it's a MacBook Air??) I think so. I wanted an iPad, which they have too. But Juria didn't want me to get it because she said I'd be careless with it and drop it and break it. So I went to the HP store and brought a simple laptop.

I'm so glad everyone's back at Starstate. Everyone was gone and I was the only one there. So here's why everyone was gone.

_Talin. went to Kyoto for a shoot
_Mira. Also went to Kyoto for a shoot.
_Riku. Went on vacation with Juria.
_ Nene. Went to the Owari province.
_Juria. Went on vacation with Riku.
_Yula. Traveled to China for the weekend.

Everyone else had something to do but me, I had nothing to do:( Riku and Juria always leave me, but I found things to do. I went shopping, I visited Kimmi Choi. andI visited the Yamamoto's.

Bye for now.

~Yu.

Autographs.

After the interviews, Fashion Teen asked our models to sign their very best autograph signatures. So they signed them on a special touch screen computer, it looked really fun and I had to go out and buy one. Haha. Okay here's the autographs that were sent to my laptop.

(note, the last autograph in symbols are Yula Lin's autograph. She doesn't know much English, so she couldn't write her name in English. BUT she's making progress)

(Oh, and some of them even autographed their pictures, I'll post them later)

F.T Interview and new additions

Finally! On Thursday morning, the models of Starr Clickk had an interview with Fashion
Teen
. Talin, Mira, Riku, Nene, Juria, and Yula all were interviewed as a group and also indidvual. We'll post the interviews soon! Oh, and our dear friend Tae-Hwang wants us to thank all of the members of F.T.com for joining! And that's she's working on making her site available in Taiwan or China. Maybe both.

Here is the September addition of Fashion Teen. We are featured in the magazine, the model on the front cover is named Natalia Smirnov. She's a beautiful Russian model who is active in Japan, Russia, China, and Italy. Natalia isn't signed with us, we don't know her exact company.

Anyways, we'll most likely post the indidvual interviews first before the group one. The group interview is reallllyy long, and we have to get the notes back from a lady named In Yoo. So, we'll post as soon as we can. For right now, enjoy the pictures we've recently posted.

Ohh, almost forgot about two things...

First. Starr Clickk's website will be a little longer than expected, sorry guys. But it might not happen since it won't work right. The man we got to create it is doing a great job but, unfortunately. It's working poorly. So, we're better off with this blog here.

And second. Good luck to the winner of the Fashion Teen Summer Spree Contest, her name is Nakamoto Hadara, 16, Tokyo, Japan. Her name is easily translated to Rachel Nakamoto, she attends Tokyo High School. Good luck, and don't spend $800 on nothing. Hha.

Well, that's all. We'll have interviews posted soon.

Bye bye!

~Yu.

Pictures from the photoshoot with Fashion Teen

Here's the pictures from the photoshoot with Fashion Teen. Nene,, Juria, Yula, and Seung-Hwa. The others are the interview room and backstage. (of course, the photos are a little edited and photoshopped, so it might look a little different than regular pictures)

Starstate

Our models nicknamed the house we reside at Starstate. Combining 'Star' with 'Estate'. Silly, I know. But it fits us perfectly. The Starstate is one of my many homes, I love it. Especially the one in Japan. I also have a house in Kyushu, Japan. Where I was born at. My children mostly stay here on the weekends sometimes.
Starstate is a very elegant place to stay, we just recently remodeled the interior bedrooms to look like this.

Fashion Teen

Fashion Teen is an online magazine available in some parts of Japan. (Shibuya, Ota, Shinjiku) it is one of the main projects for our models. The magazine is really fun and exciting, my good friend, Tae-Kwang Gwon, an ex- Korean model that was based in Taiwan is the one who created Fashion Teen. The models of Starr Clickk had an interview with Fashion Teen today at 7:00AM. We'll post it soon. Thanks.

Letter from Yula

Hi

I'm Yula Lin. My mom says I was born a natural born model. Since she used to model too. I guess modeling wasn't that big where I grew up. So my mom got a teaching job in Japan. And we moved there. I don't know much English. But I'm learning. I didn't really think of learning a new language. Since I figured I be in China my whole life. And if so. I wouldn't need to. My favorite sport has always been soccer. I play it with my brothers all of the time. I had a dog named Mink. But had to give Mink up for adoption after I moved into the Starstate. Well. Okay. I have nothing else to say. So bye bye.

Letter from Mimi

Ni Hao. My name is Mira Ming Chu. I was born in Beijing, China. At the time I signed with Starr Clickk. I didn't know much English, Korean, or Japanese. Only Chinese. Luckly. Some of the models knew my language and they taught me English, Korean, and Japanese. They nicknamed me Mimi, because it was eaiser than saying Mira-Ming.

When I was five, my older sister (who was six at the time) was brutally killed by our neighbor. One whom we trusted dearly. My sister's name was Mina-Ming Chu. Me and her were best friends, my only friend actually. I miss her sooo much, even though many years have pass by. My family don't talk about Mina anymore. As if they are trying to forget my sister. I think about her all the time, and since the name Mina is such a common name, I see it everywhere. So it's hard to avoid. My mom is being selfish, I found Mina's body in the lake behing our house and she thinks she has it hard. It was always Mina's dream to become a model... So that's why I'm doing this.

Hope it's not too sad.

Mi Chu.

Letter from Talin

Hi hi!

My name is Talin Elisabeth Smith. I don't know when it was when I fell in love with Asia. It was a while ago I know, when I was like 10 or so. Yeah, so I made a vow with my friend, Molly, that we'd go to Asia when we grew up, possibly 18 or so. So, when I turned 17. I told Molly that I was going to South Korea in a year. She was really excited. We saved up enough money in 11 months to go to Korea. When I told my mom, she was like '"Why do you want to go to South Korea, Tally? Why not go to Italy. Someplace I want to go" My mom was born in Taiwan, even though she's American.

So about a month later, after my 18th birthday. We went to Seoul, and it was kind of weird when we got there. I didn't really speak the language and no one we saw actually spoke English. I was almost ready to go back home. But Molly told me that I must've had here a reason to come all the way across the country. I never thought of modeling. Especially in a different country. So the first thing I did was found a Barns & Noble and brought a Korean grammer book. I learned a little Korean in a few days because I easily remember things. Molly and I stayed in this crappy apartment that was like... Oh I have no idea how much money it was. Luckly the lady liked America and was planning to go there, so she took American dollars. One day, Molly brought this crumpled ad that she said was floating around in the streets. It had a two girls on it (who was Kana and Nene) that had the address and information for Starr Clickk. I told Molly I had no chance with these girls, they were probably considered beautiful in Korea. So I went to the address, which was a beautiful office and talked to Yu Lee. One of the founders of Starr Clickk. They all but hired me on the spot, and I moved in the Starstate (Star Estate) Molly left and went to Thailand for some reason, I haven't seen or heard from her since. She supposedly went stayed with her family.

I hope she's doing okay. Well, bye bye.

Talin.

Letter from Kana

Hello,

My name is Juria Aika Sasaki or Kana. Haha. I was born in Kyushu, Japan, but raised in Seoul, South Korea. When I was little, I wanted to be a singer... And I could sing really well. Early this year, I signed with my father's company and was placed in an undebuted group named G16. But it didn't work out because none of our hearts were into it. It's funny, because we were close to debuting, but it would've been stupid anyways. So. I became a model under my mom's agency.

In 2006. I moved to Los Angeles, California with my older brother where my older sister, Riri (Lilly) lives. I was never really close to my sister because she moved to the States when I was little. I think she was around 15 or so with her friend, Micha. But we became closer after my three year stay there. I really liked America. Even though it was different. I was really glad to be back in Asia though. Lol.

At first, I didn't get the idea of modeling. Don't know why, just didn't. But then when my mom started Starr Clickk. I was excited and figured I should give it a try. So, now. I love modeling and doing absolutely nothing... Absolutely nothing, but school.

'=' thanks for listening...

{Kana}

The way our agency works.

We have two five bedroom houses in both Seoul, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan where our models stay. Most of them don't do but about five projects of work a year. The rest they have fun. Regular models don't get paid as much as Victoria Secret Angels. Or whatever, but it's fair, and if you stay in it long enough and don' give up. Then you'll become pretty rich. Take it from me, I modeled since I was young, and made lots of money off of it. Maybe because I did lots of projects back then and stuff like that, I didn't like magazines or anything... I liked the fashion shows...

When I was 10, I wanted to be a model. By the time I turned 15 I was only 5'4. And I figured I wouldn't grow any taller. But when I turned 18. I was at the height of 5'7. Which is pretty tall for a woman anyways but at the perfect height for a model. They told me I was the perfect subject for a model. So I signed with T.H.E.N Agency. After that I began doing lots of projects that's when I met Yu at a fashion show in Italy.

So I'll skip a few years...

When I turned 36. I had finished my modeling career and was happy. I told my friend Yu that we should start our own agency. Since T.H.E.N was already long gone. So we started Starr Clickk and went looking for unpopular models (no offense, just meaning that they aren't really popular on the internet or anything) and we found some that were looking for agencies. Yu and I brought two houses in Korea and in Japan so we could have a place to stay when we travel.

But anyways. We aren't just an agency... We are a family.

Thanks...
~Mie
