New Blog!
As you know (from Fashion Teen) we announced last month that Starr Clickk would close for good (including the stores) But we will still blog. This blog will not be deleted but we are starting a new blog. A blog that focuses on Uljjangs. So, that means we're focusing on Korea and not Japan. We will not be updating anymore on Starr Clickk's blog because there is no more Starr Clickk. So, please read our new blog. Ulzzang World.

And five surgeries before her fifth birthday. Alicia had a troublesome childhood, even though her mother and father tried to make it seemingly normal for her, it didn't help much with Alicia being so sick. When Alicia reached high school. She was a healthy girl who had forgotten all about her childhood. Alicia became a model at eighteen years old. She was named the Vice President of Starr Clickk in October of 2008, four months after the modeling agency opened. As you may know, last month our models went on hiatus. And therefore only three models are active at the moment (Riri, Haera and Juria) Because of that, everything has stopped. So at the end of October, Starr Clickk will have its last party. We are more than sorry for this. And we've had a long run, almost four years have passed since 2008. We know we are letter all of our fans down. So we probably won't be posting anymore photos, news, fanmail, FAQ, profiles, or updates. We are truly sorry and we hope you all will still suport us no matter what.
Also, the myYearbook accounts of Sasaki Riku, Park Haera, and Sasaki Juria will be closing at the end of the month also. We are sorry for this too.

JURIA: I want to focus on school. I've been modeling for five years, almost six and it's time to call it quits. Since Starr Clickk is closing, I want to close out my modeling, and myYearbook also. I love the website. But I think I've grown tired of the drama dealing with it, and I'm a really busy person. The only reason I didn't delete my account was because of close friends like Nina and Yorrie-Chan. But now that I've thought about it. I've finally decided what I want to do. I want to be a regular girl who goes to college. I know my world will never be normal. But I can do the best I can. To my fans, I am truly sorry. No, it's not true that I'm Andy from Shinhwa. Yes, it's true that I'm quitting modeling. No, it's not true that I have a child named Eun Jae. Rumors aren't nice and can be really hurtful. Riku's Ending Party

As of September 29 2010. Sasaki Riku left Starr Clickk to attend college, Riku decided not to do modeling anymore and to focus on his studies. We held a going away party for him. We'll miss him.

Pop Candy pt. 2 and regular update
Today was the last photoshoot for Pop Candy, thanks to all the fanmail, we'll be sure to have Haera and Juria answer them soon! And also, we'd like to apologize to all of the fans that showed up at the Pop Candy photoshoot today. We're sorry, but Haera and Juria were at school at the time of the photoshoot. We'll make it up to you soon... Hopefully, we can start off by making it up to you with two more photos from the beautiful collection.

BIO: Akae was born in Honshu, Japan, she started modeling when she was 9 years old, she was a bright girl who loved girly things and anything involving fashion, she had a special place in her heart for animals and always cared for them. She has a younger sister, Akahana. Who is now 12 years old. On September 30 2007, Akae was hit by an 18 wheeler when coming home from a photoshoot, the impact broke 5 bones in all, 3 in her legs, and 2 of her ribs. She died later at the hospital from blood loss and a severe head concussion. Hopefully she is in a way better place now.
T.H.E.N's Reunion
In 2007, T.H.E.N magazine closed for good, after so many mishaps with the models, controversy, and lawsuits, they canceled the magazine and clothing line. T.H.E.N lasted from 1999-2007. The magazine's Founder Furukawa Hana (who now is taking care of her 12 year old daughter, Samantha.)
On January 1 2011, T.H.E.N magazine will hold a banquet for the models and staff of T.H.E.N and Starr Clickk, and a mini-statue of Akae in a small Zen garden.
We were asked to be the co-hosts of the event. Samantha Furukawa is also thinking about signing with us.
Oh, and if you want to visit Akae's Zen garden, it's on the island of Honshu, just send us your Email address and we'll send you a pass to get through the gates. Also, in our next post we'll have a profile of Akae.

Memorial
On September 30 2007, T.H.E.N's model Yamagata Akae, was killed in a car accident at age 19 one day before her 20th birthday. She was born October 1 1988, she was coming home from a photoshoot on a rainy night when an eighteen wheeler crashed head-on with her Jeep Cherokee, she died two hours later at the hospital.

Emo Candy & M.E.D Tours
On Friday, September 10 2010, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. E.M, the designer of Emo Candy, and Li Xiao, the designer of M.E.D will host a showcase of their clothing for their joint fanclub, Candy Apple. (the official fanclub) also. The models that modeled for Emo Candy and M.E.D will also be there signing autographs and there will be a special appearances by the models who participated in Idol Night last Friday night. There will also be desserts, such as fine pastries like petit fours, lemon tarts, green tea ice cream, and many more. It'll be really fun, so if you are a member of Candy Apple, please go down to the Emo Candy and M.E.D's joint shop titled Pop Candy.

In some of our previous post, we said that our eldest model and the first one to sign with us, Talin, was quitting her modeling job to study in New Zealand. Talin said that modeling in a different country wasn't for her and that she "came to Asia to travel, not to work" Talin said that the jobs she booked were "minor and immature" so she quit. So, to fill Talin's place, River's (River is Yu's nickname) first child, Sasaki Riri, Riku and Juria's older sister will take Talin's place as the Leader of Starr Clickk. (We'll post Riri's profile in our next post)

Fall, Idol Night, and pageants
Yay! Our favorite season of the year is coming, fall! Fall is the perfect fashion season for the colors brown, orange, and green. It's one of my favorite seasons, our models have booked different modeling jobs for the fall, currently, Yula and Nene are modeling for Li Xiao's line M.E.D.I.U.M, Mira is a spokesperson for Bebe. Yang-Ah is doing runway for N.I and Riri, Riku, and Juria are the main models for Emo Candy by E.M
Idol Night is a special event held for middle school students in Japan where four Idols (two Japanese and two Korean) spend three hours with the students signing autographs, talking, answering questions, it's a really fun event. This year which will be held Friday, September 3th 2010 at 6:00pm (Tokyo time) and will end at 8:30pm. The two Japanese Idols are Sasaki Juria and Funayama Kumiko and the two Korean Idols are Lee Gi Kwang (AJ) and Yang Yo Seob. I hope everyone has a good time.
Unfortunately, we aren't able to give the location of the school.
On September 11th 2010, the J.L.L.B Children Foundation is holding a pageant for girls ages 10-19. Starr Clickk was asked to make an appearance but since some of the models are busy for the that day, Riku, Juria, and I agreed to go. The main goal of the pageant is to fundraise 4,000 dollars in five hours.

On Monday morning. We held our weekly Monday meeting at Starstate, usually, we discuss project bookings, issues, and futures. There's a saying that the future always changes. It's kinda true.
So, the models decided what they wanted to do by next year. Talin, the eldest and only American is leaving and going to New Zealand to study. On Saturday, August 21st 2010 we held a going-away party for Talin. I could tell it was sad. So currently, we had to quickly find a new model (we'll post her profile in a few) Hopefully. They will all get along.
Sorry this is such a short post, I'm really tired and sleepy right now, I spent the whole day helping the housekeepers clean and cook. So I'm burnt out. Haha.

Laptops, phones, and makeup
My day hasn't been the easiest. First of all, the interviews went pretty well on last Thursday except for Talin's little mishap. But that's it. Yesterday, I dropped my precious laptop in the Koi pond in front of our house, along with my phone. So I had to wait 24hours to order the cosmetics line from Kimmi Choi and no way to call anyone. so I immediately went to the phone store and brought an iphone4. Which is really cool. I took my daughter, Juria with me because I had no idea how to look for an iphone or a computer. So when we got to the Apple store and purchased the iphone, she told me "mother, you should get an outer box, this is your third phone this year." So we brought the outer box (which I have no idea what that is, now I know it's an iphone case) and went home. Instead of buying a fancy laptop like my two children have (I think it's a MacBook Air??) I think so. I wanted an iPad, which they have too. But Juria didn't want me to get it because she said I'd be careless with it and drop it and break it. So I went to the HP store and brought a simple laptop.
I'm so glad everyone's back at Starstate. Everyone was gone and I was the only one there. So here's why everyone was gone.

A: My first modeling job was an ad for Starr Clickk, actually.
Q: How much was your first paycheck and what did you buy with it?
A: It was uhh, 99.00 I think. And I brought an Ipod with it.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: I like to call my parents who live in America.
Q: Do you have an Idol crush?
A: The former leader of 2:PM Jaeboem.
Q: Are you dating someone?
A: No, I've only been on one date in my whole life. I'm single.
Q: Favorite color?
A: Orange, but I never wear it.
Q: Favorite accesory?
A: Earrings.
Q: Do you have a favorite outfit?
A: Yeah. I never wear it, but the baggy jeans and worn tee-shirt I wore to South Korea. Haha. It's hanging in my closet, I look at it every time I leave the house in the morning.
Q: Would you like to try anything else besides modeling?
A: No. I suck at singing and dancing, so nothing else.
Q: How do they treat you where you live?
A: They treat me well. I love staying at Starstate. Even though I feel kind of weird sometimes.

F.T Interview and new additions
Finally! On Thursday morning, the models of Starr Clickk had an interview with Fashion
Teen. Talin, Mira, Riku, Nene, Juria, and Yula all were interviewed as a group and also indidvual. We'll post the interviews soon! Oh, and our dear friend Tae-Hwang wants us to thank all of the members of F.T.com for joining! And that's she's working on making her site available in Taiwan or China. Maybe both.
Here is the September addition of Fashion Teen. We are featured in the magazine, the model on the front cover is named Natalia Smirnov. She's a beautiful Russian model who is active in Japan, Russia, China, and Italy. Natalia isn't signed with us, we don't know her exact company.
Anyways, we'll most likely post the indidvual interviews first before the group one. The group interview is reallllyy long, and we have to get the notes back from a lady named In Yoo. So, we'll post as soon as we can. For right now, enjoy the pictures we've recently posted.
Ohh, almost forgot about two things...
First. Starr Clickk's website will be a little longer than expected, sorry guys. But it might not happen since it won't work right. The man we got to create it is doing a great job but, unfortunately. It's working poorly. So, we're better off with this blog here.
And second. Good luck to the winner of the Fashion Teen Summer Spree Contest, her name is Nakamoto Hadara, 16, Tokyo, Japan. Her name is easily translated to Rachel Nakamoto, she attends Tokyo High School. Good luck, and don't spend $800 on nothing. Hha.
